Interviewer: "I see you and George Mikel have decided to release this type of set every year in time for the Winter Music Conference and Ultra Music Festival. So, let's talk about it...what you're releasing Wednesday, the 19th, first off, let me just say, another phenomenal set from you two! Whether people know you or not, you guys definitely gain new fans after your festival sets. That's without a doubt. Are you releasing this to the public for free again? And I have to bring up, you two were the only DJ's performing without a laptop. Why not the change?"

Myxotic: "Damn Stacy, you're really trying to dig deep in this interview. You have an audition for CNN or something? I kid of course. I always enjoy your interviews and thank you. Glad you enjoyed our set! So, to answer your questions, yes, we are releasing this to the public as a free download and for the same exact reasons we gave you last year. And let me just say, these music festivals are way over priced. It's ridiculous what people spend to come to these things and don't get me wrong, we appreciate the support but we know not everyone can afford these hundred, two-hundred dollar prices. There are people that love this music and simply can't afford to see their favorite DJ's in a festival type of environment. I feel the least we can do is give them the concert experience as a free download. They can put their headphones on, turn it up and feel like they were there and not deal with some sweaty-ass stinky people that for some reason don't know how to use deodorant.

And to answer your question about the laptop. We personally don't like it. Being a DJ and performer, I don't want my visual to be a damn laptop. Being a DJ is about audio. Our ears do the work of beat-matching, timing, etc.. So, this allows us to look at the beautiful crowd, minus the few deodorant-less ones, and feed off their great energy. Don't get me wrong, not every DJ that uses a laptop, uses it to do the work for them. They simply use it to store their music. We have plenty of friends that started like us on vinyl and then CD's and learned to DJ with their ears and now use laptops. You know the phrase, 'to each their own'. So, in other words, we enjoy not using a laptop. Sure, we'll make mistakes but that's the thrill of being live and I'm sure people can appreciate that.

So, for the record, we enjoy everyone that comes. Whether they end up liking us or not, we do this for the music and the people that enjoy this music. Can't expect everyone to like us. Every DJ has their own style. And the ones that do like us, we immensely appreciate their love and support. We wouldn't still be here without them."
