The lyrics mention "telling scary ghost stories" which is now a long-lost tradition on Christmas Eve.

My part in this cover version is just the lead vocals. I was very happy to find this backing track by "The City Of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra". It was a big surprise to me that there are recordings of a symphonic orchestra available.

Er wurde im selben Jahr von dem Pop-Sänger Andy Williams aufgenommen und auf seinem ersten Weihnachtsalbum "The Andy Williams Christmas Album" veröffentlicht. Der Song feiert und beschreibt die Aktivitäten, die mit der Weihnachtszeit in Zusammenhang stehen und konzentriert sich dabei hauptsächlich um das Zusammensein mit Freunden und Familie. Der Text handelt an einer Stelle vom Erzählen "gruseliger Geistergeschichten", was eine mittlerweile lange verschwundene Tradition am Weihnachtsmorgen ist.

In diesem Song habe ich ausschließlich die Hauptstimme eingesungen. Mit dem Backing-Track des "The City Of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra" bin ich diesmal außerordentlich zufrieden. Es war für mich eine große Überraschung, dass es tatsächlich Aufnahmen eines Symphonie-Orchesters zu kaufen gibt.
