Mr Dex - The DeX Files Ep. 131

A Deckhead since pre-teens Mr. Dex's affinity towards Soul, Funk and Hip-Hop has led to a career with countless highlights. He played an integral role in many promotional campaigns for Tommy Boy and Rawkus Records at their height. Early 2000s he become a resident DJ on London’s legendary Hip-Hop station Itch FM, which led to a 2 year tour DJ gig for UK MC Klashnekoff. During this period he rocked crowds at Fabric and Jazz Café, and featured in lineups with the likes of Ghostface, Raekwon, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Omar, Amy Winehouse and Estelle to name but a few. A VJ since 2010, Mr. Dex has showcased his video mixing skills in various clubs and venues including London's BFI and Saddlers Wells Theatre. In 2013 Dex's stock has continued to rise, with residencies in Central London and Big Chill Bar, A Bunch of Deckheads club night in Oslo, guest slots in Holland, the innovative Hip-Hop AV mixtape VisionBombing and the launch of The DeX Files radio show on ITCH FM Sundays 2pm-4pm (GMT).
