From Dublin, Ireland, Mr Cas has been DJ'ing on and off for over 15 years and after hanging up the one and twos for a few years returned back to the fold in early 2014 under the moniker Mr Cas. The mission for Mr Cas is to serve up quality slabs of house music with the choicest cuts of electronica, disco, funk, heart and soul all thrown into the groove. Playing deep house, house, nu-disco through to disco, funk, soul, reworks mashups and edits.
A huge thanks to 80HD for inviting me to do a mix for them. In this mix I wanted to aim for something slightly less dancefloor orientated and more from the Ibiza pool party/sunset mix vibe. Kicking off on a chilled note and lifting the vibe as the mix progresses and as the sun sets to a more dancey climax. Showcasing the skills of some my favourite Irish producers in there too with tracks from Jay-Ru from Waterford and Lasso d'Amore (Al Killian) from Dublin and also the mighty Fingerman from Brighton in the U.K. my favourite DJ/Producer right now. Hope you enjoy the groove.
