He loves underground dance music, he loves a good groove and he loves to see people dance. That basically sums up what drives motoko (Niels de Groot). It is exactly this pashion that fuels his workaholic schedule. Currently he manage five independent labels, amongst which are Baile Musik’s sublabel Deep Department and downtempo label Manta Tracks. The other labels (64m2, midi8or and re_tone) are part of a small company he has with his business partner, called 64 Measures Music. Besides running labels motoko also coaches a few upcoming artists in the Amsterdam area and occasionally hits the decks at parties such as Vet!. A monthly deep techno club night in the center of Amsterdam, organized by his business partner Tim Niewenhuis. Finally motoko is also a regular on the weekly Inderground Playground show on Digitally Imported.
