Merging two highly prolific and successful DJs and producers, Morlando unites Harry “Hardino” Hard and David “Junior K” Dennison, to form a spectacular new production and remix duo.
No stranger to the scene Harry has already had major success as part of the Friday Night Posse and with his Hardino remixes (Cha Cha Slide, Girls Of FHM, Leanne Rimes, Dannii) whilst David has had an illustrious career as one half of production duo Riffs & Rays (Inaya Day, Sophie Ellis Bextor, The Saturdays, Master At Work). Individually they have produced six UK top 20 chart hits, including three top 10s & a #1 UK single.
As working DJs they are all about championing quality, commercial remixes that DJs can actually play. With a finger firmly on the pulse of current trends and what is hot on the dance floor, this duo can actually deliver on their promise. Add to that stellar production skills and you have a formula for a successful and exciting new production team.
After a chance transatlantic meeting both David and Harry decided to hit the studio together and the chemistry was instant. Spurred on by the love of a great tune, their breezy production should ensure great things for this dynamic duo.
In a relatively short space of time, the duo have has experienced success with their first project, a remix of Bruno Mars’ Treasure, gaining priority play listing from both the US & UK. It was #5 in America's Remix Top 30, whilst featuring as a staple on the A lists at UK net radio stations: Gaydio and Jemmone.
A hot commodity they continue to churn out quality remixes, championed by some of the hottest DJs and remixers on the scene. After only three months together, they were asked to officially remix “Stars” for Australian artist Adam Katz & since then have gone onto officially remix for Kelly Clarkson, Erasure & the legendary Cher to name a few.
DJs are clamouring to get their hands on the coveted Morlando Bootleg mixes including: their Avicii/Icona Pop mashup and sensational remixes of Ellie Goulding’s "Burn" & Lady Gaga's "Applause" & “GUY”.
The duo are building on their initial success and gathering momentum with more stellar remixes, bootlegs and original productions in the pipeline. For remix enquiries please contact Matt Waterhouse at MWR.
