🇫🇷Version:

Sébastien Cheppe aka Moonanga commence la guitare dès ses 12 ans avec l’intense envie de monter sur une scène.

Quelques années d’entrainement puis son rêve s’accomplit.
Il commence à brûler les planches de la scène Limousine avec son premier trio de Blues Rock « Dusty Road ».

Dans les années 90, il découvre également les premières soirées de musique aux sonorités électroniques (Techno, Trance, Ethno et Ethnique).
Rapidement, il s’initie au mix en achetant son premier vinyle de l’artiste Aphex Twin de son album « Windowlicker », morceau emblématique de la scène Electronica. Par la suite, il découvre Squarepusher, Amon Tobin…

En 2000, souhaitant mélanger son jeux de guitare électrique avec de la musique électronique, il investit dans du matériel informatique afin de commencer ses premières compositions avec le logiciel Cubase de Steinberg.

En 2008, il crée le projet « Balkan Criminal », mélange de musique Electro instrumental (avec Ableton Live) au sonorité Balkan Dub.
A cette occasion, il partage la scène avec un panel de musiciens (accordéon diatonique, clarinette…).
Il se produit dans des Festivals tel que « Landjuwell » à Amsterdam ou encore « Goulash Disko » à Komiža, Croatie.

En 2015, lors d’une série de concerts au Gabon à Libreville, il découvre la culture locale. De retour en France, il travaille sur un projet plus tropicalisé qu’il nomma « Moonanga »

C’est ainsi que Moonanga prend son envol.
Moonanga fait son tour des festivals et des guinguettes. Notamment, Universo Paralello au Brésil, une tournée en Guadeloupe, Iboga Festival en Espagne, le Festival Cinema Latino à Toulouse en passant par la salle du Bikini.

Il partage la scène avec des groupes comme Lenine, Naked Univers, Sergent Garcia, La Yegros, Flor del Fango, La Petite Fumée, Sidi Watcho, El Gato Negro…

Actuellement, Moonanga initie et collabore sur de nouveaux projets artistiques comme des singles et un futur album dont les sorties seront annoncées pour le printemps et l’été 2021.

Ses Collaborateurs sont Dj Prosper, StabFinger, Midi Link, K.D.S., Loo & Placido, Aluna Project, Dj Kyem, Accordémon, MIR4GE, Death Town et, sans oublié, Dj Miss Stick…

Style joué en live, Blues, Rock, Funk, Jazz, Latino, Afrobeat, Electronica, Digital Cumbia, Downtempo, Techno, Ethno World Music…

Sébastien Cheppe aka Moonanga started playing guitar at the age of 12 with the intense desire to get on stage.

A few years of training and then his dream comes true.
He began to burn the boards of the Limousine scene with his first Blues Rock trio "Dusty Road".

In the 90s, he discovers the first electronic music nights (Techno, Trance, Ethno and Ethnic).

On this occasion, he shares the stage with a wide panel of musicians (diatonic accordion, clarinet...). He has performed on festivals such as "Landjuwell" in Amsterdam and "Goulash Disko" in Komia, Croatia.

In 2015, during a series of concerts in Libreville; Gabon, he discovered the local culture.
Back to France, he works on a more tropicalized project that he named "Moonanga"

Moonanga takes off.
