Ben Harris started his interest in Music from the early age of 13 having been handed a collection of heavily worn Disco records. The multitude of sounds conveyed by these records inspired a young boy to explore these Music styles with particular attention towards, Disco, Funk, Soul and House.

His first taste of mixing was vide an old twin tape deck stereo where he would spend countless hours chopping and arranging recordings to produce different complex sounds.

Ben’s first turntable experience which came at the age of 16 when he was let loose on a friend’s 1210’S. Addiction to mixing was immediate and like many “Bedroom DJs” he would compile countless mix tapes and hand them out to friends.

It wasn’t till his University days that whilst helping out at a local record shop he teamed up with local promoters in the Bournemouth (UK) and Southampton (UK) areas to help out with organizing and promoting parties in clubs such as “City of Sound” (Southampton), “The Manor” (Bournemouth) and the “Opera House” (Bournemouth]. In addition, Ben would make frequent visits over to a 16th Century Chateaux “The Manor” in France, shipping over UK clubbers to experience the delights of the Manor House.

During the onset of “Cable Radio” Ben has had weekly spots played out on “Max FM” (Southampton) and also featured weekly on independent radio station “SIN FM” (Southampton). Ben also had a weekly residency at Club “Centro” in Southampton (UK). Ben’s most memorable experience was playing at the “Bournemouth International Center” (BIC) in front of 1500 Clubbers with guest appearances from the likes of Danni Minogue and Brandon Block.

Currently Ben is living in Dubai, UAE, and is now involved in promoting his music style vide his “Soul’d Up Sessions” shows playing out on “Beat Win Us” and “FNOOB” wherein his music influence and knowledge of classic cuts can be show cased.
