Out of Africa - Bamako FM - The Magical Music of Mali

This editon of the Out of Africa podcast is devoted to the magically, diverse music of Mali - loosely titled Bamako FM.

It features some of the musical history of the North African country, and the music itself. Bamako FM covers the diverse spectrum of styles, from the modern afrobeats of Amadou and Mariam to the more traditional sounds of Salif Keita. There are also songs from the Super Rail Band, Tinariwen, Toumani Diabate and Issa Bagayogo.
