Berlin-based Ampispazi Recordings, following their policy of producing up and coming artists, has recently raised the quality level of its releases and, one after another, they have seriously established their name internationally, gaining support from DJs and Press. On the 14th of July they drop Uruguay-born but Milan-based DJ and Producer Kamo’s ‘Ram Muay, backed up with remixes from Mik Santoro and Metrophonique. Kamo DJ has been previously part of the “Owner Sound” project with Ramsi, producing music on the likes of Bare Craft Record and Suerte Records.

It’s latest work for Ampispazi, ‘Ram Muay’, is a strong club focused tune, driven by a relentless jumpy groove and in which rhythmical loops are merged with cavernous vocals and a deep unstoppable bass-line. Label head’s Mik Santoro offers up a more classic techno version and his remix is guided by hypnotic melodic synth-lines and by strong percussion loops and a dancefloor killer sub-line. Live sessions’ masters Metrophonique on the other side, first move the atmosphere of their remix into deep club and techy vibe until a very musical pad-line discloses and transforms their version into a perfect closing track.
