Where do I begin?...

To say 2020 has been strange for all of us would be an understatement. World events aside, my personal journey has taken twists and turns I never could have expected going into this year. My gravitation towards stoicism at the start of the year would later prove to be an invaluable tool to fall on during hard times. Here's just one quote that stands out to me personally, and I hope will resonate with you during these times...

So then onto a more positive note, which brings us to this DJ mix. 2020, despite its painful moments, is the year my musical self started to wake up after a long slumber. I’m aware of the irony that this happened during one of the worst times in history for the creative arts, but perhaps the need for such things couldn’t be greater when we look around at what’s happening to the world.

My hope is that the mix takes us all away from the world, if even just for a while, so that we can get lost in a moment and go to that place in our minds we know makes sense. That place we have all missed going to. That place we need so much during these strange times...
