I got new strings for my Strat on Friday. After restringing and a quick setup, I hooked it up and this is what happened. The main lead was done in 1 take and treated with FX later. The other guitar elements were recorded in first to build the atmosphere before laying it down. I then built the track from there until the early hours.

Seasoned guitarists out there will probably laugh. I'll admit myself: I'm no guitarist. but it's what came out in the moment and it felt good.

Why's it called Duality? Not sure really. I watched 'Full Metal Jacket' and 'Fog of War' this week, so it's a theme that's been floating around in my head..... "You can't change Human nature." "The duality of man. The Jungian thing, sir."
