1988 Pirate Radio station Studio FM under the name DJ Ace. After only a few months I got moved from the "Graveyard Slot" of 3-6am to a Friday afternoon slot. At the time Studio FM was called "London's No1 Soul Station" and not playing much house music but that quickly changed. The show had to contain no more than 30% house music so I split the show in 3 segments, soul/disco, hip-hop/electro and house.
This was ripped from cassette tape. The picture to the left is of me in 1988 doing a segment for a BBC TV documentary, World In Action Documentary - A Trip Around Acid House.
