Basic Channel ist das bekannteste Projekt und Label der deutschen Musiker und Labelbetreiber Moritz von Oswald und Mark Ernestus. Beide produzieren seit Anfang der 1990er Jahre minimalistische Techno- und Dub-Musik unter verschiedenen weiteren Projektnamen wie Quadrant, Phylyps, Maurizio oder Rhythm & Sound. Beide betrieben unter anderem die Musiklabel Chain Reaction, Main Street Records und Burial Mix.

Basic Channel is the best-known project and label of the German musicians and label operators Moritz von Oswald and Mark Ernestus. Both have been producing minimalist techno and dub music since the early 1990s under various other project names such as Quadrant, Phylyps, Maurizio or Rhythm & Sound. Both ran the music labels Chain Reaction, Main Street Records and Burial Mix, among others.
