Solar Experience is a concept album that uses musical images to tell a prehistoric story. The story is about the Annunaki, an alien race which has been colonizing the earth in the dim and distant past. The existence of the Annunaki explains the great leap forward in the development of the mankind, given that both the alien life forms and terrestrial humans merged genetically. Yes, you can say that all our technique and knowledge nowadays is eventually just a rediscovery of long lost cultures.

The name of album may lead to the assumption that it is filled with first and foremost crazy sounds of the outer space. Nevertheless, most tracks are rather of “earthy” nature, and the variety of rhythmic elements evoke the association of Native World Music.

However, our solar system and our galaxy remain important for mikebo. He chose to combine the elements of the outer space with Native world music in order to present his approach and understanding of the development of mankind. This approach focuses on the ‘missing link’ between the birth of the earth and the sudden rise of great and well-developed civilization far before our common era. mikebo seeks to explain these phenomena by those, who came out of the galaxy to our solar system and who helped, through commingling and genetic engineering, the former mankind of the earth to develop in such a speed.

As result, the tracks in the album SOLAR EXPERIENCE are, with its spacy and native sounds, a consistent mix of ‘earth and space.’

SOLAR EXPERIENCE ist ein Konzeptalbum, das in musikalischen Bildern eine prähistorische Geschichte erzählt. Es ist die Geschichte, wie die außerirdische Rasse der Annunaki einst in grauer Vorzeit die Erde kolonialisierte. Durch Vermischung und Genmanipulation erfuhr die damalige irdische Menschheit einen ungeheuren Sprung in ihrer Entwicklung. Ja, man kann sagen, dass alle uns heute bekannte Technik und unser Wissen letztendlich nur eine Wiederentdeckung untergegangener Kulturen ist.

Und so ist der auf SOLAR EXPERIENCE anzutreffende Mix aus „Himmel und Erde“, also aus spacigen und native Klängen nur konsequent und absolut hörenswert.
