12. Mike Callander for Nano, 2007 original

This mix was recorded at Nano, and again I can feel this innate sense of time and place. I had returned from a string of gigs in Europe, and was inspired by the experience and the reception. I had a thirst for the craft of DJing as an exercise in so much more than track selection, and I set out to mix quickly through a range of styles, while of course needing to keep the techno dancefloor entertained.

This became a promo CD for the night, and I'm still very proud and happy to listen to it myself :)
