One of the original UK Techno djs with a career spanning over 2 decades.


To call Colin Dale "legendary" is no over-estimation.......here is a Dj that has been one of London's most cutting edge Djs for over 20 years and still continues to surprise and marvel. Music was always a big part of the Dale family's life......Soul, Reggae, Jazz and Funk.....even before Colin left school friends included Fabio, Grooverider, Dave Angel, Jumping Jack Frost and Bryan Gee........all who went on to be top Djs in their respective scenes. It all began in 1982 when Colin who was then working as a banker in the city of London began to warm up for Hip Hop supremo "Tim Westwood" at the cult Gossips nightclub in Soho playing cuts like Soul Sonic Force, Strafe, Shannon and Donna Summer. In 1985 Colin was one of the key members of the pirate radio station Kiss FM and soon after left banking to pursue a career in music and the "Abstrakt Dance" radio show was born. For 16 years "Abstrakt Dance" was a ground-breaking show which quite simply bought Techno to the masses. Guests on the show included All the UR crew, Hawtin, Angel, Pullen, Garnier, Saunderson, Craig, May, Cox......the list goes on and .. the show was put on the internet in 1993 Colin became a household name in Techno circles Worldwide. It was the first ever Techno show to be transmitted live with visuals and it was revolutionary. It was around this time that Colin teamed up with Brenda Russell and Colin Faver to do the "Deep Space" series of clubs in London which again saw the team take London's Techno scene to new highs. Other club nights that Colin has been involved in include Electric Boogie, Vapour Space, Deep and Jelly. Production wise Colin has recorded for Perfecto on their very first LP, Obsessive, Logic, Sensei, Visitor, Abstrakt Dance, Swag, Laus and Alien Funk amongst others as well as 7 well received mix compilation LPs for various major record labels. (see discography*) As well as being a regular guest at clubs such as Fabric, Rex, Pasha (Buenos Aires) and Love (Brazil) Colin has toured the Worlds clubs extensively.....Japan, China, Russia, Australia and Eastern Europe.........Colin is a favourite the World over. Looking back Colin has played some of the Worlds best parties.....Dance Valley, Full Moon, Tribal Gathering, Sunrise, Energy, Love Parade, Automatik and Rage @ Heaven. Fast forward to 2008 and its all systems go...there’s the new revamped Abstrakt Dance record label and web-site due in November 2010, lots of new music productions a new studio in London and also regular “Wildlife nights. Still as busy and popular as ever these days Colin sound is still tough and funky with blissful shades of Electro and Tech House. Lee's style is an intricate blend of Deep Tech House and Techno.

Over the years Lee has DJ’d at many venues across the UK sharing the booth with a host of great DJs. Growing up going to clubs like The End and Fabric in the capital and the infamously intimate Bomb in Nottingham, Lee’s introduction to underground house music came from some of the scene’s pioneers; Tyrant, Wiggle, Layo & Bushwacka, Inland Knights as well as the then emerging US west coast sounds coming from artists like H-Foundation, Tony & Onionz, Joeski, Jay Tripwire, Doc Martin.

Becoming consumed by the sounds Lee went on to promote underground nights DUBDUP & FACTION throughout the Midlands and London during the noughties.

In 2011 Lee launched House and Techno imprint Click Therapy Recordings, as a platform for his own productions as well as an opportunity to put out music from up and coming and established artists. 3 years on and Lee’s productions are currently doing the rounds at all major download stores and receiving regular support from some of House and Techno's finest including Richie Hawtin, Paco Osuna, Marco Carola, Danny Tenaglia, Layo & Bushwacka, Luciano, Joseph Capriati, X-Press 2, M.A.N.D.Y, Slam, Terry Francis, Nathan Coles, Eddie Richards, Inland Knights, Stacey Pullen and many more.

Click Therapy continues to push forward from an impressive back catalogue featuring some brilliant artists including; MiniCoolBoyz, Dela, Ceri, Al Bradley, Mancini, Carlo Gambino, Auditive and DK Watts, with lots more still to come.

On the back of Click Therapy’s success, demand for Lee’s music has been on the ascend with releases/remixes on some seminal labels including; Wiggle, Something Different, Cubism, Family Grooves, 3am, Midnight Social, Evasive, Forward Education and more. With DJ gigs stretching overseas and loads of music in the pipeline for 2015 things are looking up.

Aubrey Bio

Starting in 1990 recording for Sheffield label Ozone records under the name of Panic with a release called Voices Of Energy, which was then licensed to Buzz in Belgium. In 1991 he set up his own label in the same year Solid Groove Records.

Solid Groove had 30 vinyl releases and tracks were licensed by Derrick May, Adam X and many more compilation and mix Lp's, Cd's, but was stopped in 2003 and is set to return in 2014.

Over the last 24 years Aubrey has recorded and remixed for many labels such as.

At the age of twelve he became an avid bedroom DJ which taught him the skills that have taken him through a successful and professional career spanning twenty-five years.

From his first residency at the Portsmouth club Central Park at eighteen, he soon found himself in London spinning next to Carl Cox, Groove Rider, Colin Dale, Mr. C etc, at such raves as, Energy, Raindance, and clubs such as, The Astoria, The Gardening Club, The Pirate Club, The Marquee, Turnmills, Deep Space, Ministry Of Sound, Mr. C’s Release party’s and a residency’s for Fantasy FM and the famous south coast club Sterns.
