Mendelieve is a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma. But who is Mendelieve? He founded VoltechParty 13 years ago, a well known promoter of techno music in Barcelona.
In 2003, Mendelieve was the alias of Carmelo Gomez, producer and performer of memorable live sessions in Voltech parties at nightclubs as relevant as Spirit, Republic, La Cova, Loft, Row and Sala del Cel, Radiozora.fm
Before founding Voltech, he had proved his musical skills composing the soundtrack of the avant-garde theatre play “Sirenas en alquitrán” ( "Sirens tar") in Artenbrut Teatre of Barcelona (2002), an unforgettable experience.
After been in Spirit venue during three years, where Voltech was born, Voltech sets its new home in Mephisto venue, where Carmelo prioritized its work as a promoter of the Voltech parties over his career as a producer and live performer. But his musical vocation was strong, and he finally follow the call and resumed his hobby this time as a DJ, something lighter than produce lives.
Now, finally, Mendelieve returns to his origins, wiser, more evolved and revolutionized, while retaining the same energy, with sessions of deep and techno genre, eclectic anyway, sessions which mobilize the dance floor from minute 1. And do not look for references, Mendelieve is going to be a (delicious) surprise.

Pero ¿Quién es Mendelieve? Es el fundador de VoltechPary. Reconocido promotor de música techno en Barcelona.
En 2003, Mendelieve era el alias de Carmelo Gomez cuando producía sus directos en tiempo real en las primeras fiestas Voltech. Memorables sesiones en Spirit, República, La Cova, The Loft Rzz, Row y la Sala del Cel, Radiozora.fm
Antes había demostrado sus capacidades poniendo banda sonora a la obra de teatro “Sirenas en Alquitrán” en Teatre Artenbrut de Barcelona (2002), una experiencia inolvidable.
Con el cambio de sala y el recalado de Voltech en Mephisto, Carmelo priorizó su desempeño como promotor de las fiestas sobre su carrera como productor de directos. Pero la vocación le pudo, y retomó su afición esta vez como dj, algo más liviano que producir en directo.
Ahora, por fin, Mendelieve vuelve a los orígenes, más sabio, más evolucionado y revolucionado, pero conservando la misma energía. Sesiones de deep y techno, eclécticas, sesiones que movilizan la pista desde el minuto 1.
