I think I discovered something wonderful in the last track, then worked my way forward to the beginning.

Did Elizabeth Fraser memorise her vocals by listening to Tim Buckley? Or, equally likely, was Tim Buckley's recording playing in the control booth or even in her earphones while she sang with This Mortal Coil? Everything lines up, pitch perfect and to the fraction of a second, either way.

As always, this mixtape was recorded live, in one take, from vinyl sources in my collection and is presented as it was recorded, warts and all. Or, in the case of the final track, as something a little beyond perfection, from years gone by.

There are old records in this mix, and new-ish records and everything in between. Some are a little hard to find. But all are worth tracking down, if you like what you hear. If the search links don't pan out, I have found Discogs to be a good source for old vinyl.
