<itunes:summary><![CDATA[I am a South African songwriter, and I write from the places I have actually lived.
My songs are born from real stories — from love and loss, faith and doubt, healing and beginning again. Some come from the hardest chapters of my life. Others come from ordinary moments, memories, relationships, laughter and the quiet things that make us human.
For many years, there were parts of my story I didn't know how to give a voice to. Songwriting became one of the ways I found that voice.
I don't write because I have all the answers. I write because I know what it is to fall, to question, to rebuild, to love again, and to discover that God can still create something beautiful from chapters we thought had already ended.
My faith naturally finds its way into much of my music because it is part of who I am. But I also write about life — about relationships, family, confidence, memories, becoming, and the complicated, beautiful experience of simply being human.
If one of my songs finds someone in a season where they need to feel understood, encouraged, remembered or a little less alone, then it has done what I hoped it would do.
These are my stories.
Perhaps somewhere inside them, you will recognise a little of yours too.
