Starting off with the EPs title track “Fiddler”, a laid back & chilled tune. Built around a sleek groove and authentic analog drum programming, the tracks main focus lies on the echoed male vocals. The sounds and instruments both chose, make Fiddler a standout and track that will become an ear worm instantly.

Moving onward with “Fleecy Shout”, which has a similar, slightly weirder vibe to it and features a very funk driven groove. It’s all about piano chords bouncing around and trippy male vocals providing the fun. The subby bassline provides the coolness underneath.

Monkey Safari are closing off the record with their interpretation of Fiddler. They change up the groove and place witty sample layers here and there. To spice things up both also add a touch of acid.
