Etwas mehr als drei Jahre ist es nun her, dass ich damals noch auf die Baustelle des Schrebergartens eingeladen wurde. Der Macher dieses einzigartigen Geländes lud mich ein, seine Visionen zu teilen.
Ich war sofort geflashed von der Location und der Idee, welche dahinter stand und freute mich riesig ein Teil davon zu werden. Sommer 2011 war es dann soweit und der "Schrebergarten" eröffnete seine Pforten. Ohne groß Werbung zu machen, kamen die unterschiedlichsten Schichten an Partyvolk zusammen um sich diese Ausnahmelokation mitten im Herzen von Köln anzuschauen und in eine Fremde Welt abzutauchen. Die Macher hatten es wirklich geschafft, einem das Gefühl zu vermitteln, wenn man den Eingang hinter sich gelassen hat, in eine komplett anderen Welt abzutauchen. Nicht mit Prunk, auch nicht mit Geld. Ganz einfache Mittel, wie Holzpaletten, Container und ein buntes Sammelsorium an Schrott, aber liebevoll zusammengestellt und in Szene gesetzt, vermittelten eine einzigartige Atmosphäre. Endlich hatte Köln mal wieder ein Aushängeschild an Partylocation.
Mein erster Gig folgte auch gleich wenige Wochen später auf einen wunderschönen Sonntag Nachmittag und die Energie, welche dort in der Luft lag, war einfach nicht zu beschreiben. Wie die Sonne durch die Baumgipfel gleißte und der Rauch aus den Nebelmaschinen sich mit dem aufgewirbelten Staub der tanzenden Menge vereinte. Das ganze von tiefen Bassklängen durchzogen gab ein Feedback wieder, was bis dato immer noch seines gleichen sucht.

Gerade jetzt in den langsam heißer werdenden Tagen vermisse ich diesen Laden ungemein. Ich finde es extrem schade, was die Stadt Köln mit diesem Kulturgut angestellt hat und möchte mit diesem Mix die Gefühle von damals nochmal wider spiegeln. Hoffe mit der Musik schaff ich dies besser als mit Worten. Also taucht nochmal ab mit mir!

and it really was like a morning prayer :) I have to perfomre just the last hour in that club
and the club really wanted to close at 1 pm.
When I stopped playing, something for me really magic was happend.
For sure they scream for some bonus tracks, but this time was the firts time, that they start to go around with a hat while screaming and collect money (and buttons, and everthing else) and gave it to me to to on :)
The owner of the club and me was so impressed that i was allowed to keep playing.
The Set you listen to right now is just the bonus part of that set, the people was so amazing to me and hopefully I can give you back something with that live cut :)

For everyone else, just enjoy and come to catch me at my next live gig.

so transported this mix here, some of these emotions which you move perhaps too similar. enjoying every second that you listen to! if you feel like it, dance! if you feel like it, cry! if you feel like it, makes music so loud it goes and scream! if the neighbor rings, take it with him in the arm and dance. get out, give some love and live the edible!!!!

It just takes minutes to feel a really hot vibration between me and the crowd and as much as one together in a kind of trance, which simply did not end the emotional ago. So I have to say thank you all for that amazing feedback I received!!!!

Some tracks are created right "on the flight" with a lot of samples, vocals and melodies.
So don't try to find each track of it in that version you'll hear, you won't find it :-)
Feel free to get into that vibe of that studio session, especially for you.
