This time we are in the year 2003 which has been a time when some Eurodance-Hits were released once again in a modern sound. So we have La Bouche's "Sweet Dreams" in the new clothes of "M-Xpress". Well, but there are also some 80s-Coverversions inside. You certainly know "Juliet" from Robin Gibb. Perhaps the Flipside-Cover is something new for you, I don't know, please tell me.

"Don't you want me" was a big Club-Hit back in the year 1992 by Felix. Now 11 years later, the NFK-Project made a Cover of it. The men behind NFK are Bernd Augustinski, Frank Künne, Gerd Lehmkuhl (Kaiser Souzai, DJ R.O.C.K., Lichtenfels), Markus Binapfl (Flipside, Kaiser Souzai, Lichtenfels), Patrick Buck (Flipside, Kaiser Souzai, Lichtenfels) and if you look at the many Remixes which are available for "Don't you want me", you'll even find people like Claus Terhoeven (Cosmic Gate) or Erich Schmeier (a.k.a. DJ Errik). I will try to play all the many Remixes in my future DISCOs. All the Versions I have got in my collection on three Maxi-CDs, two of them were "Promos". The official release was very disappointing in Germany with only four short Radio Edits. That was also one of many problems in the year 2003: It was not only hard to find the Maxi-CDs inside the record-stores. In addition, the Maxi-CDs had no Extended Versions anymore. Sometimes I think the Major Labels even wanted to kill themselves.

Very interesting is also Baracuda's "Damn!"-Track which is based on a German Schlager-Hit from the year 1990 "Verdammt, ich lieb' dich" performed by Matthias Reim. However Baracuda comes with English Lyrics and "Suny" as female vocalist. Please find enclosed the Mark 'Oh Remix.
