The ‘Janãm’ series of promotional mixes/mixtapes started back in 2004 by Manish aka X FADER which led to ‘Janãm’ events/club nights, record label and also a regular spot on the Desi Beats show on BBC 1xtra.

‘Janãm’ as a brand represents Asian, Arabic and Urban Fusion and these mixes are not your usual live 'DJ' mixes where one track changes from another. These mixes represent and showcase X Fader's acclaimed blend of Eastern and Western fusion with unique turntablist skills.

X Fader is an upcoming asian artist who is a Producer / DJ / Voice Over Artist, and has taken the ‘Janãm’ brand to different cities in the U.K. and also to India, by organizing ‘Janãm’ club nights. The unique idea of these club nights was, 2 DJ’s playing music simultaneously with 4 decks/cd turntables or sometimes even more, mixing/scratching/doing live remixes. So while you got 1 DJ catering to the crowd and keeping the dance floor packed, the other DJ, is doing scratch routines and beat juggling to give the crowd a whole new clubbing experience. This had and has never been done before with Asian music.

Following up from his first two singles X Fader brings you a new pulsating Dubstep remix of ‘Bekhabar’ under ‘Janam’ Entertainment. The remix again showcases his versatility as a Producer/DJ.

The Dubstep Mix represents a crossover sound, electronica fused in with hook lines of ‘Bekhabar’ (sung by Simran and Mai Khalil) but this time with heavy basslines, leads and a hard-hitting Dubstep beat. The mix also includes a build up section featuring X Fader’s own voice.

The Dubstep Mix represents a crossover sound, electronica fused in with hook lines of ‘Bekhabar’ (sung by Simran and Mai Khalil) but this time with heavy basslines, leads and a hard-hitting Dubstep beat. The mix also includes a build up section featuring X Fader’s own voice.

‘Janãm’ as a brand represents Asian, Arabic and Urban Fusion and the mixes showcase this acclaimed blend of Eastern and Western fusion with unique turntabilists skills.

X Fader is an upcoming asian artist who is a Producer / DJ / Voice Over Artist, has taken the ‘Janãm’ brand to different cities in the U.K. and also to India, by organising ‘Janãm’ club nights. The unique idea of these club nights was, 2 DJ’s playing music simultaneously with 4 decks/cd turntables or sometimes even more, mixing/scratching/doing live remixes. So while you got 1 DJ catering to the crowd and keeping the dance floor packed, the other DJ, is doing scratch routines and beat juggling to give the crowd a whole new clubbing experience.
