César Gallego Serrano (1989): His musical education began at the age of six when he began to take private piano lessons, and by age eight, he was admitted into the “Amaniel” Professional Music Conservatory. After four years of elementary level training as a pianist with a grade point average of 9.15 on a 10-point scale, he passed into the next level – a six-year study program always obtaining the highest grades. Throughout the 10-year study program, he was awarded the following prizes for piano performance: two first prizes, two second prizes, the “Amaniel Award” for the best student in piano at the elementary level, and upon completing the study program – the “Honors Prize” for best piano student.

Outside of the Conservatory, he received the Honorable Mention “Hazen Award” – a competition among all of the music conservatories throughout the province of Madrid, in addition to receiving Master Classes in Performance from renowned professors such as Rita Wagner or Diego Cayuelas.

At the age of 18, he was admitted to the Piano Performance degree of the Madrid Royal Conservatory of Music, later transferring into the Composition program due to his new-found passion for the subject.

Finally, he possesses an outstanding academic background and training with a specialization in Music Scoring for Audiovisual Media, obtained under the tutelage of Maestros Eduardo Armenteros and Teresa Catalán, among others. He graduated with honours in 2014 and received the highest reward for his final degree project. Further, he complemented his studies by completing a Master’s degree in Digital Audio Production.

Most recently, he had the privilege of being selected from over 300 participants as the absolute winner in the Playstation® Talents Music Awards 2017

His extracurricular activities include teaching children piano, harmony and introduction to music in the Music and Recording Center of the “Sagrado Corazón” School.
