The importantly settings to make music is to stay underground and make music for the people and not for commercial purposes.

Born and bred in Mumbai, Folic State aka Karan Desai is a music producer and DJ, with his signature sound of Techno, which is dark, hypnotic and groovy.
He is regarded as one of Indian dance world’s most venerated lurkers. Eschewing the popular trend of releasing one big single and then running out of juice or heading a festival bill and disappearing the next, the enigmatic Mumbai producer has been holed up in the outskirts of the great Indian metropolis consistently producing top dance tracks for the last few years.

Early 2013, Folic State was signed to one of India’s top record label - SoupHerb Records, an imprint by underground music’s biggest champions, techno-lads Ash Roy & Ashvin Mani Sharma, which led to the release of his debut EP ‘The Vulgar Story’ in 2014.

2015 saw him craft two stellar EPs, ‘Spooky Town’ on Occultech Recordings, followed by ‘Deep Soul’ on Buena Onda Records, which are a testament to his quest to blur the lines between autumnal, emotive house music and modern club-style techno.

His latest EP ‘Deep Soul’ sees six solid cuts that range from brooding and deep to elemental and tech-y, all rooted in subtle texture. The EP includes two cracking remixes by Hamburg-duo Piemont and label boss Gurwan.
The track ‘Another Zone (Gurwan No Go Remix)’ is being featured on the renowned ‘Balance Series’ compilation by the legendary Stacey Pullen, scheduled to release in November 2015.

Be it his DJ sets or his own productions, Folic State weaves a story of sound; decidedly buoyant through its moments of clarity, and pensive and introspective when concealed – an astute step forward in the world of dance music.

His debut release Synisterize, having just released months ago, found its way to be supported by heavyweights such as Nadja Lind, David Squillace, Stacey Pullen, Paco Osuna amongst others.

As a pioneering artist from the country having released an album , 50 singles over the last decade and consistently touring all across the globe, he finally turns his sights to express this side of his versatility. Synister blends, classic minimal techno, deep soundscapes and dub influenced emotive moments, marked with pristine production.

Biography: Ochu Laross was born July 7, 1991 in the former Yugoslavia (Serbia, Senta). In a very early age he was getting more and more interested in electronic music. The first mixes are from the year 2003. His parents wanted him to be a musician, for his father is a musician and a music teacher. He went to music school, and played drums, but in 2007 gave it up, and decided to be a DJ. He played music at smaller parties, and his friends liked his music. One year later he got the chance to play at some music festivals. In 2009 everything changed. Ochu Laross got the opportunity to play at the biggest music festival of Vojvodina as a beginner DJ at the Underground Arena. He got a lot of attention after that and started having more gigs. After one month he joined the Highlight Radio, where ever since then his mixes are being played weekly. That year he was also heard on Globalparty Radio, Budapest and some other internet radios. Sometimes on private parties he would play up to 8-10 hours. In 2010 the live shows continued, and he starts to make his own tracks. He joined the Strong and Deep organization, which organizes parties like the Summer Pulse Festival. By their help, he got to play at the biggest East European music festival, the Exit. Ochu Laross likes the
weird, dark music, and the after parties.

Daniel Schneider was born in 1986 in the East of Germany, more precisely in Magdeburg the provincial capital of Saxony-Anhalt. In 2005 he began to mix several music-genres at home and eventually in various clubs. His style can hardly be established into one category, but it can be found in Techno with a tendency to Dark Minimal.

Massaar was born in Kortrijk. He early get involved by dark minimal techno and bought his first turntables at the age of 20 in 2003.

Samuel (aka Der Denker), grew up in North Eastern New Brunswick. Music fuelled his passion for what the world had to offer. It opened the doors to many opportunities when he moved to Montreal at the age of 18. He began his collection of experimental music as well as other genres of electronic music. His fire of passion started to spread.

In 2007 he started Djing and Producing. Befriending people that had the same passion and musical drive, lead him to discovered the sounds that really made his soul tremble! After a few years down the line in 2011, he was invited to become apart of the Logic Vision Record Label in Canada, now a part of Concepto Hipnotico and Dark And Sonorous Recordings, he joined his force with his partner in crime Florian Msk, producing deep, dark, minimal , techno.
In Early 2012 he formed the D.M.T. Collective Group page with Florian Msk, that lead him to start and manage the New Artistic Label D.M.T. Records That Focus on a High Level of production through Narrative and Poetic exposure of what we think is represented into a unique kind of Deep Psychedelic Dark Minimal Dub Techno

Angetrieben von dem Drang dem Feiervolk mehr als kräftig was auf die Ohren zu dräschen, macht er diverse clubs, und party´s zu seinem technoiden Spielplatz, und verbasst kräftig die Anwesenden Gefährten die ihm auf seinem Geschichtlichen Set´s folgen.

Durch seinen mehr als Trieb gesteurten Hang kranke töne, kratzende sound´s, pfippige plings und plong´s zu verarbeiten war es ja auch nicht lang weg denkbar das er mit seiner produktiven technoide Neigung bald eigene Veröffentlichung vorweisen kann.

Am 31.12.2011 pünktlich zum Jahreswechsel war es dann so weit und es wurde die erste Vinyl auf Wald und Wiese rec. gepresst ´´Tanzwald e.p´´ Und es folgen mit brachialer Sicherheit noch andere Projekte, e.p´s, track´s und remixe von ihm.

Biography:

Ochu LaRoss was born July 7, 1991 in the former Yugoslavia (Serbia, Senta). In a very early age he was getting more and more interested in electronic music. The first mixes are from the year 2003. His parents wanted him to be a musician, for his father is a musician and a music teacher. He went to music school, and played drums, but in 2007 gave it up, and decided to be a DJ. He played music at smaller parties, and his friends liked his music. One year later he got the chance to play at some music festivals. In 2009 everything changed. Ochu LaRoss got the opportunity to play at the biggest music festival of Vojvodina as a beginner DJ at the Underground Arena. He got a lot of attention after that and started having more gigs. After one month he joined the Highlight Radio, where ever since then his mixes are being played weekly. That year he was also heard on Globalparty Radio, Budapest and some other internet radios. Sometimes on private parties he would play up to 8-10 hours. In 2010 the live shows continued, and he starts to make his own tracks. He joined the Strong and Deep organization, which organizes parties like the Summer Pulse Festival. By their help, he got to play at the biggest East European music festival, the Exit. Ochu LaRoss likes the
weird, dark music, and the after parties.

Freddy Hetzinger was born 1979 near Stuttgart/ Germany. Raised up in a musical spirited family, she early got involved and interested by different kinds of music. She started playin the piano and violine when she was 8 years old, but she wasn't enthused enough to keep it on. At the age of 16 she made her first steps into the rave scene by attending scores of events around Stuttgart. Inspired and exhausted by the groove and energy of electronic music she started with Djing in 1999 - conventional using Technics 1210 Turntables of course ! After 1,5 years dilligent practice she felt ready for her first public gig. The following years she was part of a few projects and got scores of bookings and resident jobs in Stuttgart and other citys all over Germany. Since 2006 she is a resident part of the "ToY" family! She found her musical connection with Sash_liq in 2009. Together they created a new project called "Mischkonsum". Their musical baby got a lot of attention and love and it has grown up to one of the most successfull events in Stuttgart . Toollbox, is a duo formed by two Argentine artists who share their passion for dark minimal techno. Started together in his DJ sets at 17 years under the format back to back, now also perform this format but also including Live software to make the session more dynamic.
They are characterized by our dark atmospheres, hypnotic melodies and powerful basslines.
Currently are working hard on their productions and are also perfecting their Live Act.
