Presenting "A NU-LIFE FOR DISCO". This set mixes classic disco with nu-disco and indie dance tracks. While there are some original mixes, most of these have been reworked, remixed, reedited or rerubbed for rerelease. While my first love will always be classic disco, the nu-disco/indie dance movement has brought new life to disco. Often sampling parts of the old tracks and putting them in a fresh format. This excites me and confirms that Disco never died, it just reincarnated itself into a new dimension. I hope you like.

Starting out with the slower, more soulful and melodic R&B side of disco/nu-disco/indie dance. Then progressing towards the party mix of those genres that goes into some classic disco tracks. Ending with a funkier set to groove to. And yes there is some David Bowie throughout. You were a musical genius. May you rest in peace.

Thanks for supporting all of the DJs in your lives. DJRickyRock
