how does a creative day look/feel like for you?

how does a creative day look/feel like for you?

how does a creative day look/feel like for you?

Each day is different, but I can immediately feel in the morning if I’m in the mood for creating something new. On these days I just start playing the keyboard or the drum machine without actually thinking of what will come out if it. I jam until I come up with something interesting and then I start to explore that idea. On creative days making music is a thoughtless process.

how do you support yourself in being creative?

Spending a weekend away from the studio and being on the countryside with my girl, friends and family is always a refreshing experience. After two days I just can’t wait to return and start working on new things again.

how do you hinder yourself from being creative?

The most important things is for me to keep the balance between my day job, private life and music because if there is something wrong in any of these areas it will affect the others as well.

how did you come across Lucidflow?

I came across the early Klartraum stuff that came out on 3rd Wave records and Night Drive music. Later when some labels started to release my music, I always saw the nice feedback from Nadja and thought that if I have something that will fit to the sound of the label, I will send it to her. After three months I had some tunes ready, sent it and the Dub Sessions EP was born.

tell us one of your greatest wishes:

I have no grand master plan, but it would be nice to have some of my music pressed on vinyl someday and to play lots of great events of course.
