Love Sexy Records’ bossman DJ Raw Sugar dishes up another fine selection of his own gear for the label’s second release. This one kicks off with the vibrantly smooth and smoothly vibrant “Eins Zwei Disco”, a bouncy portion of future movement built upon a rubbery, logical bassline. While Inkswel was on remix duty for the first release it is Voyeurhythm’s Megadon Betamax who swings through this time to take the track up and beyond and somehow manages to add even more optimism and brightness to what was already a positive slice of future disco. From there it’s back to DJ Raw Sugar with the piano-dripping mid-afternoon burner of “Break It Down” and off-kilter beyond-the-grave ghost jazz of “Why Don’t You”.

Out of Rome, SofaTalk soars high on this EP, feeling out the difference between a lifetime on Earth or one really cool moment above it. The title track breathes and evolves via a series of flourishes on the playful side of things - this one is no beard stroker. "Cloudy Soul" keeps the optimism and front foot action rolling with an excursion slightly to the deeper end without ever fully taking the plunge. Wrapping it up, "On Reflection" is a tight little rhythm-box-driven number that takes you by surprise, transplanting you from the floor to the lower middle stratosphere without you realising. Japanese producer 9dw then turns it into a hot stepper of its own, keeping the energy up there but differentiating the bounce.

DJ Support

Kraak & Smaak - "...liking the 9dw version of On Reflection."

YamWho? - "...sounds great. Full support."

Trujillo - "Cloudy Soul brings me back to those early two thousands atmospheric deep house tunes by Needs, dope track!."

Jimmy The Twin - "Cloudy Soul for me! Love it. Tastes like Red Jelly Babies. X"

LeSale - "Sweet."

Kelton Prima - "SofaTalk delivers 4 great deep house tracks on this EP - warm pads and fat round basses. The result is catchy and groovy like the Chicago deep house vein. Full support here."
<googleplay:description>Out of Rome, SofaTalk soars high on this EP, feeling out the difference between a lifetime on Earth or one really cool moment above it.

Ben Houghton - Casazza & Kozber EP - Out May 2015

This time around it's a triple dose of the sort of forward-moving and ready-to-go good times accompaniment. First up is Ben Houghton from Melbourne, Australia with "Do You Know"; a house cut with emotional deep vibes and more than enough of the straightforward percussion and bump required to keep things immediate. Following it up is natural late nighter "Happiness", another housey number but with a smokey mood that just seems to dub itself out as the track keeps moving. At the tail end of the release you'll encounter Casazza & Kozber - an Italian-Polish producer team that will have you slinking around with the certified lazer-lounge mover "Twilight" - all squelches and shimmers, it's a journey from the sunken dancefloor to the mirrored bar and back again.

DJ Support

Jimpster - "...liking the sound of Twilight!"

LeSale - "Wicked & witty house tracks by Ben Houghton and a nice take on the Maze classic!"

LTJ Xperience - "I'm really digging Twilight, will play it for sure!"
