Welcome to my newest personal growth project. I recently joined two of my previous band mates from the Phil Morgan Band in a new experiment / project. With Covid limitations any live music options that we had as individuals are all toast, at least for a while. With lead guitarist (Brent) and bass player (Jim) we have begun a personal distancing trio. Brent, the real brains behind this operation is managing and leading the process from his home, a little south of Parry Sound. He has been using some of this down time to develop his skills with recording, editing and producing songs. Without any face to face time with Jim, in Sundridge or your’s truly in McKellar, we have recorded separate tracks and forwarded them to Brent for editing and production. With all the back and forth, it takes about a week or so to complete a song. With our growing confidence in the process, the pace will certainly pick up. We have no plans yet as to where this fun might go, but are enjoying making some music with each other again. Both Jim and Brent are into classic jazz standards. So … I am too now! LOL!
