Lo-Ki

Sydney, New South Wales, Australia

Lo-Ki is Sydney based musician Lachlan Grant who sports an epic red beard and a passion for all things bass and beats. Obsessed with fusing vintage sounds with modern bass music, Lo-Ki serves up a dance floor mix of funky glitch-hop, whomping electro-blues, stompy electro-swing and heavy ghetto-funk edits.

With solid roots in Sydney's bush doof and warehouse party scene since the mid 90s, he first started playing psychedelic downbeat music in chill-out spaces under the moniker 'Fester'. He then got involved with underground party collectives organising various aspects of event production and learning the tricks of the trade. In 2001 he went on to co-promote the Elixir festivals, a series of seven free, community-based outdoor electronic music festivals. Then in 2006, Lo-Ki teamed up with DJ Bentley to co-promote Sydney's infamous inner-city, block-party style club nights, Dust Tones. Since then he has been actively involved in production management of many events including Defqon.1, Sensation, Supremacy, Electric Gardens, Snowtunes, and Stereosonic Festivals.

Today Lo-Ki takes his freaky, carnival-esque sound to clubs, festivals and parties across Australia including Rainbow Serpent, Rabbits Eat Lettuce, Regrowth, Dragon Dreaming, Art Party, Subsonic Music, Electro Carousel, Psyfari and many more. He has rocked stages supporting a host of local and touring international acts such as Freq Nasty, Jenova Collective, The Correspondents, Dub FX, The Opiou Band, Mr Bill, and more.
