As some good friends kind of complained about the low sound quality of crappy phone camera previews :P and as I am an addict myself, when it comes to dubs and versions and their creation process in the studio with all the machines and technical aspects and the great world of electronics involved, I decided to start a likkl series of work-in-progress session material from deep down in the Den…

• TAPE experiments part III -

a rootikal riddim, recorded by some great musicians in Guinée & Côte d'Ivoire around the singer Mak Soul, gets a Lion's Den dub treatment… inna dubwise instrumental fashion… mixed straight from 16-channel multitrack tape reel to reel through an analog desk… several (tape) delays, (tube driven) springs, filters, reverbs, phasers and other machines revive the riddim inna different style…

(This dub was run on a little slower playback speed than the original 15ips at recording.)
