Leo Burkatov aka DJ LeoHawk is the label Manager of Shaman Electro Records

Leo moved from Kiev, Ukraine to San Francisco in 1992, and has been djing since 1998. Starting out with Melodic and Hard Trance on Vinyl and now on CDJ's for about 17years with all types of Psychedelic Trance. A fine mixture of light and dark music, with defined kicks and rumbling base lines is what you can expect every time without fail.

LeoHawk has performed at various outdoor and indoor, musical and arts festivals all around the United States and in India such as: Alchemical Tangra (GOA), CrystalMoon Alchemy (GOA), Spring Zouk Festival (St. Marys Island, India), Jungle Party (Kodai Mountains, India), How Weird Street Fair (SF, CA, USA), LoveFest, Gemini Festival (CA), Red Marines (CA) and Burning Man (NV), Contact Festival (OR), High Jinx (OH), Subculture (RI), SEOA (WI), Psycheground & Red Marines (NY, NY), Psytribe and Green Sector events in South California. LeoHawk has also performed with a large array of national and international artists such as: Logic Bomb, Hux Flux, Arjuna, Entropy, Rev, Rastaliens, Aphid Moon, Procs, Ajja, Psykovsky, Durango, Mubali, Gregh on Earth, Parus, Fractal Cowboys, Monks of Madness, Fria, and many others.

In the year 2007 Ultraviolet Carnival (www.ultravioletcarnival.com) was created by Justin Wilson and LeoHawk. For 4 years LeoHawk organized gatherings and did sound with the UVC sound system in and around California, USA. In January, 2011 LeoHawk joined Mighty Quinn Records and worked as a Label DJ and Organizer with DJ Niki for 2 years. In 2013 LeoHawk ended his work with Mighty Quinn and joined Sangoma Records and as of 2015 took over ownership of Shaman Electro Records.

Most recently LeoHawk has been involved with releasing comps and artists albums of various labels he works with!
