One4SevenOne welcomes Braedon Plasztan to the family with his “Disconnect EP", that includes two originals and two remixes from Italy’s 2Loud and fellow Melbournian D-REX.
The first track, “Disconnect” is a composition of steady and deliberated techno. Remaining in the low octaves for most of the track, Plasztan provides breathing room when the bass is stripped back to reveal a wobbling, distorted vocal over a hollow percussion.
The remixes of “Disconnect” from 2Loud and D-REX are both brilliant and unique, focusing on different elements of the original. While 2Loud’s remix begins in an equally as haunting manner, he speeds up the tempo and moves into a higher frequency, introducing a chime that reverberates throughout the track’s duration. D-REX explores the percussion elements and experiments with the tonal range, to further emphasis the bass line and create tension in sections of the track.
For Plasztan’s second original “Brainwave,” he toys with bringing the bass in and out to create an eerie atmosphere. Especially in the middle of the track, when it arrives at an apex and Plasztan brings in a steady, heavy bass line.
“Disconnect” will be released on One4SevenOne Records on July 6th.

He began in several clubs around his city and tried to create his personal style. After a dj contest he received a lot of congratulations by the judges and started to produce his own tracks with more passion and spirit. 2011 was a great year: he started to release music with another name : "2Loud" with bigger labels and many other important artists of the techno scene. He started to play out of his city in 2012, alongside Ellen Allien in Turin, then in Switzerland, Germany and in the south of Italy thanks to his productions that reached the first positions in many top 10 and especially "Aero", released on Italo Business Records, that reached the 1st place for many weeks in Top 100 Hard Techno on Beatport.
