His sound is like beeing chased by predators, as a fan describes. Dekai is known for some extended DJ-Sets at the Uschi & Bärbel (Saarbrücken), Hoppetosse or Tresor and has his residency at Magdalena. Just to name a few.

Since I know him I experienced that as longer it gets as better it will be. In 2014 he founded the label RAGNARØK with Holgi Star. It's worth checking it out if you like straight techno as it should be. It makes me proud to open the Kuckucksmucke Series with a set of a friend and great DJ recorded at Sisyphos' Hammerhalle. I hope you enjoy it like I do.

As Kuckucksmukke is new I just have to say that I'll provide you two times a month with fresh tunes from dj friends I have met the last 20 years. The idea is born out of missing a lot of them as I left Berlin for Black Forrest and new adventures ;)

In early 2014 Patrick released his second Album (Treibstoff - Vi Två Records) which went straight into the Beatport Top 100. And he keeps himself busy: two new vinyl releases on Delude Records are already under construction.

Patrick Arbez is always trying to build his very own, memorable sound. His style could be described best as a mix of dark minimal and melodic techno, although he is experimenting beyond genres as well.
