ARDAAS

Sleepingdust presents ‘Ardaas’, a devotional song sung by the students of NSM Public School (Terkiana, Punjab) supported by Amrik Jassal. The lyrics have been penned by Lali Wadala, and the music is by Amaan Singh TMT.

‘Ardaas’ is beautiful and memorable melody narrating the faith children have in God to give them strength in whatever they do, and to always lead them to the right path. This song is the result of a singing competition held by Amrik Jassal and sponsored by the American company TMT, to support the future generation of talented musicians. The winning children were given the golden opportunity to record a song with Amrik Jassal.

Amrik is already a well-established singer in the Punjabi music industry, with several albums and solos to his credit, but Sleepingdust hopes to build a relationship that will cross all creative barriers to create magic. Amrik started his musical journey during his childhood years, and participated and won many musical contests during his school, college and university years. His desire to excel in the craft further has made him a renowned name in the music industry.

Amrik has performed in live shows hosted in states other than Punjab, such as Delhi and Nagpur. He has also given his voice as a playback for a Telefilm. Along with this, Amrik teaches music to continually support young and talented singers in Punjab.

Sleepingdust hopes that our audience appreciates and supports ‘Ardaas’, an endeavor that showcases the talent amongst the youth of Punjab.
