DJ & Producer | Dubstep/140 • Reggae & Dub • Hip-Hop • Garage • D&B • Jungle
Bookings/Enquiries: info@IMPACT20twenty.com
The name? It’s pronounced "Kraows-Eee".
After a few years away from the front line to focus on family and building a successful creative agency, Krausey is back behind the decks and in the studio. No pressure, no rigid release schedules—just pure creative freedom and a "play what I want" attitude.
THE HERITAGE
Krausey is a veteran of the UK underground. Having toured the UK, Europe, and the USA, he was awarded Best South West [UK] Dubstep Producer at the 2011 South West Drum & Bass Awards. From headlining sets in California to tearing up Glastonbury, he spent over a decade deep in the bass scene before stepping back to master his craft in photography, video, and design.
THE CURRENT VIBE
While most of his creative energy is currently poured into the HERATIKS project, the Krausey solo alias is where the rules get thrown out. Expect "bits and bobs" spanning everything from heavy Dub and Drum & Bass to Garage and Bassline.
Recently, there’s been a return to his roots: Hip-Hop and Dub instrumentals. He’s back in the lab crafting head-nodding beats and gritty instrumentals designed for MCs to spit bars over—revisiting the raw, sample-heavy sound that started it all.
HERATIKS & THE TAKEOVER
While Krausey is the "soul" project, HERATIKS (alongside James Wiggans) is the powerhouse. In just 18 months, HERATIKS has dominated the charts and the airwaves:
Music Week #1 Chart Status
Beatport Top 10 (Bass House)
Support from Fatboy Slim, Roger Sanchez, Richie Hawtin, and Radio 1.
COMING UP
The solo diary is staying selective but high-quality. Keep your eyes peeled for upcoming sessions with RUBBADUBDUB and a special Breakbeat B2B with Paul Bassrock (Bassrock Records head honcho).
