Hambach Forest, a forest located in western Germany exists since the last glacial period about 12,000 years ago. The oldest trees are nearly 350 years old. The german energy giant "RWE" plans to fell the remaining 10% of the forest in order to expand its coal mine there although the end of coal mining is merely a formality. Police have started treating activists aggressively and clearing treehouses of Hambach Forest. "Powering. Reliable. Future". It's the companies slogan. But whose future is it they care about? Damn sure it's not ours.

Der Hambacher Forst existiert seit der letzten Eiszeit, also seit etwa 12.000 Jahren. Die ältesten Bäume sind ca. 350 Jahre alt. Der Energieriese RWE will die verbleibenden 10% des Waldes für die Gewinnung von Braunkohle abholzen, obwohl der Kohleausstieg beschlossene Sachen ist. Die Polizei hat erneut damit begonnen, aggressiv gegen die Aktivisten im Forst vorzugehen und die Baumhäuser zu zerstören. "Zukunft. Sicher. Machen." Das ist der Slogan des Konzerns. Doch um wessen Zukunft geht es hier? Sicher nicht um unsere.
"Damned Paradise" ist der neue, in Kooperation produzierte Track von Alaix Pulse, Discoshaman, Landhouse, Nathan Hall, Steffen Kirchhoff und Vincent Gericke. Taucht ein in einen idyllisch unversehrten Wald und lauscht den Windspielen. Denn es ist auch unser Wald. Alle Spenden kommen den Aktivisten des Hambacher Forsts und somit der Rettung des Waldes zugute.
