Klandestyne aka DJ Rivmic has been at the center of the dance music scene in his hometown Shrewsbury since the late eighties, he got some decks and a oldskool wooden Gemini mixer and practiced his craft ,he played at the all main events in and around Shrewsbury courtesy of his mentor and friend Sonny woods , he also put on his own promotions at various bars n venues ,alongside co running a record shop in the town Uniform records with Tony Orwin before moving to London where he was instrumental in setting up a number of projects.
A freelance review writer for the drum and bass arena breakbeat.co.uk where he covered all aspects of dnb ,and was able to do a interview with
Blu mar ten (which was never published :()whilst doing that he set up the stylish Blupencil records an oldskool online specialist web store

Helped put on a number of club nights Intro at Cafe` El Paso E1,and Nuphunk/Nu horizuns a weekly Wednesday d&b n breaks session @ the vibe bar E1 ,He also played on a number of internet and pirate stations Gaia live , pirate abyss FM and interface radio where he hosted a weekly show covering oldskool classics and new dnb.
He completed a sound engineering course to arm him with the knowledge to get his own set up and start writing his own brand of electronic music ,he returned back to Shropshire in 2000 and quickly linked with his good friend Kev Salisbury a local producer and formed @mospherixz where before long they had amassed a number of tracks and started uploading to forums getting support from Tobez from Vibration records/Its too loud, Gerome Le turbo Germany ,Sub focus,Ltj bukem ,Pete rann,Qumulus which resulted in having tracks signed to Red mist Recordings"Say u stay" RMRDig005 and
"Daytona dreamz" RMRDig009 ,also Its too loud Digital "Acidwerks" and had a track added to Absys records LP Archetypal , their audio archive in all different styles is vast and will be re mastered and re unveiled in the near future , after a break from the scene they have recently linked up and have new material to to re affirm their unique brand of techno tingled dnb & breaks.
Rivmic's DJ skills would put most to shame with consistently tight flowing sets that span through a spectrum of d&b styles old & new. Rivmic was a resident at the 'Basement' nights in Shrewsbury, Shropshire circa 2005/2009, and DJed alongside, Goldie, Grooverider, Fabio,Shy FX, Mickey Finn ,
EZ Rollers,Patiffee,Ltj bukem,Twisted individual,John B,Stu Allen,C2C,The Scratch perverts,Pascal,Hype,Zinc plus many others.
25 years in this scene should tell you a lot about this dedicated & underrated master of mixing.
