It all started for Tangent Tone in 1991 when he heard his first ever rave song T99 Anasthasia by DJ Mr.Ed. From that day onwards he never looked back. Based in the UK and in the West Country where the free party scene was thriving , Tangent Tone spent every weekend hunting down free parties with his friends until one day he got an opportunity to mix at a party when somebody had played all night and said “ do you fancy a go?” To which he said “ I’ll give it a go” and never looked back from that day on .He played free parties mainly and a few local clubs to the south west and then from 2006 started producing as a hobby as well as mixing. He as also Co promoted an event with the Plump DJs at a venue called Breaking Point in the South West, and with gaining all the experience from it all.

Tangent Tone then got a chance to work with a record label known as “Dual life records” mostly remixes and a couple of original tracks. He then fazed out of the scene around 2015 with other commitments in life and now in 2020 is making a comeback in his career as a DJ with a different viewpoint to his career.
