Kerri Powles

Brecon, United Kingdom

Kerri Powles was born on February 7, 1961 in the star sign Aquarius. Today she lives with her husband in Brecon, South Wales, and has two grown children. She lives in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Parks Nature Reserve, where she is making a name for herself as a composer, keyboardist, player of several wind instruments, more unusual of which is the Native American Flute, and occasional singer. Kerri is a so-called "musical intuitive", which means that Kerri cannot read music, has never had piano lessons, yet can still play the piano and also has an intuitive flare for composition. Kerri receives the content for many of her compositions (though not all) in ‘the deep sleep state’ at night, and lingers in a special place, which she describes as "paradisiacal". Not infrequently she meets there dead relatives and also animals, which have recently passed on.

In this place Kerri receives wonderful sounding music that she hears all around her, that is, she hears this music in a special acoustic space, in a kind of endless universe. Amazingly enough, Kerri has a phenomenal musical memory, because she is able to actually memorize the music she perceives in the dream and, upon waking up, transfers this information stored in the waking consciousness. After a small time of slow awakening, she gets up, goes to her keyboard and records the music she heard. She says that when she writes down music upon waking, important data is not lost, and therefore she does not experience it as a shortcoming not to be able to write music in notation form. Kerri has a multiple artistic talent: she creates unique compositions, plays various instruments, sings beautifully, writes and photographs very original material! I refer to her music as salutary: it leads to deep relaxation and to a recharging of the life energy, which is apparent in the response she gets whenever she plays her music in public, and more recently in Care and Rest Homes for the elderly, and for Dementia patients.

Kerri may be the only composer to intuitively compose from deep sleep. Her special abilities speak for a high spiritual talent, of which she actually has many signs. It is humorous and at the same time full of deep thoughts and above all intuition. Working with her is an indescribable pleasure, because she is a wonderful, open, honest person whom you can really rely on and who is full of creativity and enthusiasm. I am very fascinated by Kerri and I am pleased that she immediately agreed to work for me as a multi-artistic consultant! We are on the same wavelength and working with art is a lot of fun!
Kerri has already released 4 CDs that you can purchase (even as a single title). She is very happy to have fans, and especially delighted about people who are prepared to support her financially in her work, because Kerri desperately needs a new keyboard to replace a very old one. This new keyboard will add a new dimension of instrumental realism, which she knows will improve the standard of her work even further. She is saving for a Yamaha Genos Keyboard, and is grateful to anyone who likes to open their hearts to her and buy her music, or donate something that helps her reach her goal for this very sophisticated, expensive instrument earlier than 2021!
