Klaus Boss Presents Lory D+Sounds Never Seen Special On Future Music FM December 23th 2014

Another tribute mix and a humble gift for the festive season to all of you.
This time it's all about the demonic sounds from Lorenzo D'Angelo aka Lory D, who through dj'ing alongside people like Leo Anibaldi (ACV/Cannibald Records) and Mauro Tannino (RIP) of Vibraphone Records would constitute the roman rave scene in the early 90's, With the aid of friend Andrea Benedetti aka Skull, Lory D set up Sounds Never Seen around 1990 and in 1991 the first 12" of the label was released. Drawing on references from Electro, Aphex Twin, Underground Resistance, The Mover and other sources of inspiration the music on Sounds Never Seen was cacophonic, relentless and disturbing. In 1999 the label sadly folded with the release of the equally brilliant "Deep From Colosseum / Cleaner From Prati" 7". Over the years more and more people finally seem to have caught on to the vision of Lory D. and so the unique music propelled by Sounds Never Seen finally seems to have gained the respect it truly deserve.
