Later that day I bump into Ezekial Ox, at The Empire Cafe, and he asks if anyone at Tetris is looking for someone heavy on tunes, so I get him in the studio he slams out those lyrics, and after a few days of fiddling a rearranging this track was ready!
It has been sitting on my hard drive since prob 2010, time to let it fly out into the world!.

He picked out Claire to sing on this track, she is a magical unique little character!.
So Tal made the basis for the track, then we recorded the vocals, but it still needed something else. One morning I came into the studio at 9am incredibly hungover, (or quite possibly woke up on the floor of the studio haha),and somehow magically came up with the grindy chainsaw dubsteppy bits, then we fiddled and reworked and fiddled and reworked the track forever!
One week I was recording a death metal band, so decided to run the grindy heavy drop bits through their guitar amps fully cranked to see what it would sound like, so I recorded maybe 6 passes of the heavy bits and panned it left and right for extra fatness.
Fun Times!!!

I had a studio at Tetris in Brunswick at the time, and Stevie C (Setvice) was on a mission to do one song a week for an entire year. (he was in Perth, it was around 2011.)
He made the beats and sent them over, I walked out into open area where a bunch of MC's were sitting and chatting, and announced who wants to be on a track.
Baptiste (Polyglock) and Joel (Vytal One) jumped at the opportunity, Joel went and got Adele (Muma Doesa), and within and hour or 2 had written and recorded their verses and the hook.
Baptiste had to go but made vague promises of being back soon to do his verse, then a week went by, finally he was leaving the country in a few days, so he promised to come at midday monday.
Midday, no show, 2pm no show, 5pm no show, tonnes of phone calls and "yea yea i'm coming soon", still no show, finally at 10pm, I give up, unfortunately the track won't see the light of day.
I head down to the local freestyle hip hop night, and find him there!!! I drag him back to the studio, he spits that amazing verse, then falls asleep on the couch haha. Fun times.
Then I sent the stems back to Stevie C, he did a bit of wizardry and voila, one of my favourite tracks so far!!!

<googleplay:description>I had a studio at Tetris in Brunswick at the time, and Stevie C (Setvice) was on a mission to do one song a week for an entire year.
Fun times.
Then I sent the stems back to Stevie C, he did a bit of wizardry and voila, one of my favourite tracks so far!!!</googleplay:description>
