Áron Takács in Budapest, Hungary alias AeRo and has been interested in music since he was a child. At a tender age, he had an aptitude of playing various types of instruments. Grew an interest towards different electronic music styles, he always listened to layered music; lounge, jazz, chillout, ambient, liquid drum and bass, trip-hop, deep house and dub techno.

Having tasted quite a few styles, it appeared that he found himself in deep house and dub techno styles of music. He began producing music in 2010 yet currently he works mainly as a DJ. When possible, he plays music through vinyl records and he performed in places such as Larm, Telep, Nemdebár, Picnic Manufactory, Gátőrház, Müszi, Dürer Kert, Mika Tivadar Mulató.

AeRo has been collecting records since 2014, his record collection already consists of more than 300 rec pieces and most of ‘em are Deep House & Dub techno records. Exceptional, an inspiration through musical crafts. The "Euphonic Moments" series of events was founded in 2013 with his friend Ferenc Szanati, they also came up with a show on Radio Tilos in 2015 under the same name.

My first attempts date back in the early 90’s, I went to a lot of house parties in those days which were quite big in the Netherlands. Although the mainstages were often hardcore or garage, the smaller rooms had experimental music which had always been a big inspiration. I was trying to make some noises with a PC and some samples but I had no budget for a cool setup with synths and drum computers, et cetera. A lot has changed since then, nowadays PCs are almost completely out of the creative process and slowly replaced by all kinds of hardware… modular, synths, samples and more.

In my opinion, it is now more fun and more creative, I’m amazed that after all these years I can still discover new techniques as well as sounds and totally lose myself in the process of creating a new track. In music, I am always looking for something mysterious, in the broadest sense. Attractive genres to me include deep house, future garage, (post) dubstep and ambient. Inspiration is very broad, but examples of names that inspire me are Extrawelt, Royksopp, Maribu State and Ital Tek. They inspire me by the choice of sounds, special arrangements and the atmosphere they can put down like no one else.

On my Youtube channel you’ll find musical experimentations, some tutorials and live jams. I am often found also on forums such as syntforum.nl as well as muffwiggler.com in helping people to further their knowledge on concepts of music production.
