"House, with the balls of techno"... I remember hearing Erick Morillo say that on some MTVt type interview, way back in like 2004, when describing what the future sound of Subliminal Records would be. When I heard him say that, I immediately thought "yes, that is what I want." Hard af house music.. still soulful, funky, groovy... but bangin as fuck.

I never did hear that sound come from Subliminal tho... in fact to me their sound got softer after that, lol.

Ive actually had this set half finished since January. I borrowed from it last month to put a set together for the Classics Love Jam night tho, so I basically removed most of those tracks I used, and found newer, doper shit anyway :) to finish this one up and get'r recorded. So you will recognize a cpl tracks from there.

Anyway, to pick up Erick's slack, 15 years later, I give you this. ;)
