<itunes:summary><![CDATA[This is the home - solely for the present - of the 2021 re-mix of the 'When the ordinary days fall from the earth' album.
The original 'Ordinary days...' was recorded over a period of two years. When it came to mixing and mastering what was a long album, my patience was waning. The record was mixed, mastered and released very soon after the last track was added, in 2017. After hearing everything again in 2020, I was frustrated enough with my initial efforts to decide it needed re-mixing. Andy Ponsford and I did that. In addition, new drums were added to some tracks and one was started again from scratch.
Jon: guitars, bass, bouzouki, mandolin, whistle, harmonica, percussion and vocals
Louisa Hollely: flute (9, 11, 12, 13, 16), recorders (1, 4, 10) and vocals (4, 6, 9, 10, 13, 14)
Phil Davis: cajon/percussion (6, 12, 14, 16)
Julie Bailey: guitars (14, 16)
Jem Ponsford: drums (5 (live), 11, 13)
Gerry the Flute: recorder (4).
All songs: J. Airdrie. except #4: tune 'St Denio'; words W.C. Smith.
Recorded in Abercarn, Winchester and London - 2016/17.
Please do get in touch if you would like a high quality CD version of this record. ]]></itunes:summary>
