MIXMASTER JOHN CROMER (a/k/a/ DJ Humidity)
Music changes, dance moves come and go, technology continues to evolve but… 
John Cromer a/k/a/ DJ HUMIDITY has been a mainstay for unforgettable club, private and corporate party/events for over 20 years. Professionally equipped with Mobile DJ and VJ experience, along with state of the art digital sound, lighting, video mixes and a passion for audience satisfaction…DJ Humidity is internationally known for bringing the heat!

Born in Brooklyn New York, and like many other Brooklynites, John Cromer’s diverse music appreciation and record collection began at an early age. By his early teens he found himself turning others on to new music and also having insight to the desires of their musical palettes. As both his collection and insights grew, he knew he was destined to become a DJ. He got his feet wet as a resident DJ at a little hole in the wall club in Brooklyn called "South of The Border." He rocked it; before long he had a following and was spinning at several NYC clubs including Brooklyn’s “Mahogany” and Manhattan’s, “The Red Parrot.” This garnered attention from music industry personnel, which led to his entrée into the music and broadcasting industry.

Polygram hired him to remix singles for the clubs, and other remix opportunities followed, including remixes for Earl "The Pearl" Monroe’s (of The NY Knicks) Pretty Pearl Records Label. Remixing for record labels opened the door to roles as a Master Mixer at KISS-FM (NYC) and WBLS-FM (NYC). ‘Cromer landed his first air personality job as Master Mix Producer of Dance Oriented Rock and Station Production Manager at WLBS in Mount Clemens, MI (sister station of WBLS, NYC). Several roles in broadcasting followed, i.e. News Production Assistant at 1010 WINS (NYC); Master Control Engineer at WWRL (NYC); Afternoon Drive Air Personality under the moniker, “John Cromer the Afternoon Chauffer" and Production Manager at WNHC (New Haven, CT). A relocation south brought more opportunites; Program Director at 980 WAAA (Winston Salem, NC) and as Air Personality “Johnny King Doing the Overnight Thing” at 98.7 KISS (Greensboro, NC). At Power 97 (Greensboro, NC) under the moniker “John the Boss Ross,” he hosted, programmed and produced "The Classic Storm" & "The Soul Session" while also producing Master Mixes. “John the Boss Ross” was also the Afternoon Drive Master Mixer for the “5:00 Traffic Jam” and “20 Minute Work-Out” at 102 JAMZ (Greensboro, NC). While broadcasting opportunities continued to present themselves, ‘Cromer never neglected his passion for spinning in the clubs, including nightly spinning at the Bronze Exclusive Sofa Lounge in High Point, NC, a club he owned and operated.

“It’s all about my audience” says ‘Cromer; no matter how much I’m feelin’ it, I Am there to bring the heat for them!” He loves the immediate and direct response he gets from his audience when he DJ’s. He knows what they want but he also turns them on to music they don’t even know they want!
