Coinciding with the OFF-Week, we present ROTTEN HEDONISM, by Michele Guidarini + Cane, an ambitious project in which both Italian artists mix their universes to step in our facilities for a week, pushing us to live in an atmosphere of Lowbrow, Techno and Pop Surrealism that will present in the opening exhibition in Barcelona next Wednesday 15th of June and opens a circuit of cultural events during the days 15th, 16th and 17th of June.

Abandoned by the moral and inspired by temporary altered states, the duo of artists don’t hide the fact of being attracted to electronic music, pleasure, drugs, loops and disinhibition, showing evidence in this politically incorrect work, laden with sarcasm, mischievousness and a single clear aim, the experimentation.

Both artists share a strong connection, they have conceptual worlds in common: frozen pain between icons of Western culture, religious irreverence, the monstrousity and the decadence of human being. The universe of Guidarini is allegoric evil, the discomfort awareness, the deformation and the intolerance towards a world that doesn’t belong to us. Cane’s universe is the imaginary good, the mass lobotomization, the forced happiness. Together in this unique project they deepen the power of music and teach us that the existence is not limited to the forms imposed by reality.

On the 16th of June we will have the performance of the DJ and producer Korben Nice from Barcelona.
