Jyotirmay Roy, better known by his stage name JMR, taking the No.1 spot in the reverbnation the highly prodigious DJ and Progressive House producer from Kolkata in the India was started his journey since 2009 as a DJ after passing his schooling. He was born in Suri on 18th Octobor 1991. He was passionate about music from childhood. His first stage performance was in the age of 7. After completing schooling in the age of 18 he joined Excel DJ Academy for DJ training later on he joined excel as a Trainer. His first event was in Kolkata that is for Airindia Corporate Party. Later on he did many shows in colleages and clubs in Delhi, Raipur, Durgapur, Kolkata, Siliguri ,Purulia and so on.

This talented selector drew the attention of the spotlight early in his career thanks to a series of amazing mash-ups. He has since gone on to demonstrate a natural understanding of audio arrangement and structure, alongside possessing an impressive prowess as a peak-time performer, whose technical ability leaves club and festival audiences wowed each and every week. He started making music from 2011. Genre is not important for him, Importantly A Music Enthusiast Who Perceives Music Beyond Genres. Till now he released many tracks in his various style where Sun Raha Hai Na Tu (Indian Classical Style), Muskurane (Remix), Galliyan (Remix), Tu Meri Vs Anchor Mashup was most popular song. Very recently he made a Bengali Official Remix for Mtv RockOn winner Tanmay Sadhhak (Bhalobasi Tomake).He did many radio podcasts for Sky Fm Dubai.His enthusiasm was inspiring, his aspirations infectious! He was hungry to make it to a larger stage and touch a much bigger audience who loved music as much as he did. And he did not have to wait for a very long time to get there!
