DJs would bring out what's often called "morning music" or its typically slower and earlier subset, "sleaze," which is usually sexy but not actually sleazy. To the contrary, morning music and sleaze remained sophisticated throughout the '80s and many of us Saint fans enjoyed this part of the evening the most. It was soaring down tempo vocals that were always very beautiful. This is a very rare DJ Shaun Buchanan "Sleaze set" played at the Saint in New York City on Saturday October 8, 1983 into Sunday October 9, 1983. This side is from 6:00 am until 9:00 am

I so enjoyed Shaun's Music selection and while his technical skills were not the best in the beginning he was learning very quickly but he was taken from us much too soon. I would have enjoyed seeing what he would have been capable of later in his life. At least he left behind some treasures for all of us to enjoy and for the young generation to hear that are unfamiliar with "Sleaze" and "Morning Music" from the fabulous Saint Era
